This is Rhett's star as it is raised to the ceiling

Note from Lily's mom - We just got back from Rhett's Make A Wish Party!
WOW! Make a Wish does an amazing job!
DOUBLE WOW! It was such a thrill to see Rhett running around, happy, smiling, signing, clapping, and eating cake and ice cream.

I'm not going to spoil all the surprises of what happened. You'll just have to go to Rhett's page to read up on the fun. It was great!

I got up early. The bus picked me up - (mom - at 7:30a.m.). I was the only one on the bus. Ying Ying is my bus driver. She didn't talk to me. I like my class! Steven Moffat is there. He was in my class last year. I made lots of friends. Annie is in my class. Maybe tomorrow she can come to my house. I don't know I'll have to ask her mom. We worked on papers today. My teacher is Miss Ralph, three teachers Miss K and Miss Karen. I'm excited to go back to school tomorrow. Okay, that's probably it.

Lily - The Jerk Theory - Ability T.V. - New Zealand

Lily, Jeff, and I just wrapped an afternoon of filming for a television show that airs in New Zealand! This T.V. show focuses on individuals with all types of disabilities. They came to Utah to follow a story of a man who is a double amputee who was racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats and thought they would throw in Lily while they were here. They found her on You Tube – thanks Abe for her audition tapes!!!!

I don’t know how long before it will air, but while you are all waiting for it check out their site They have some great stories on there!!!

I have attached pictures of her with Wayne and Greg, her new friends. Well, I should say fiancé since she is now going to marry Greg. Also, a few pictures she took of herself while she was waiting for me to get done with my part of the interview. She got a little bored and tired by the end of the day.

We’ll keep you posted!

LILYISMS - So much for the love of a sibling...

You don't mess with Hannah!

Note from Lily's mom - Yesterday they were snuggling together and today they are calling each other poop mouth, booger eater, and Hannah Montana haters (that one crossed the line with Lily) She promptly called her brother a smarta$$!

There is something great about a 17 year old letting his little sister snuggle with him in the morning...

Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero.

I spent the day with Dawn, Henry and Brynn, my friends. I like it a lot! I like Lagoon! Lagoon Time! Mom didn't let me dance at the talent show! Next time I will dance by myself! That's probably it

Marissa, Dallas, and Lily

Aly and Lily

We went to Idaho. Someone got married. It was nice. Her dress was cute. Dallas is nice. He's handsome! I like him. I am going to marry Sklyer. My wedding will be cute. My flowers will be white and purple like her's. I will have white cake. We will dance at my wedding. We will dance to Hannah Montana. I will get a dog for a wedding present. I will get a baby doll. We won't go on a honeymoon. I will tell Skyler what to do after we get married. We will live here with my brother Tim, mom and dad, Henry, the dog, a bird, Kenny, Carrie and Sarah (Skyler's sisters), his mom and dad, Skyler's dog, that's probably it.

Our dear friend's son and my 4th son, Dallas, (I claim him and his sister, Aly as mine), got married to Marissa this weekend. We drove up to Boise to attend the wedding. It was fast, but I'm glad we were able to go! Lily loved the dress, flowers, and cake.

My mom and I want to give Tarek at Cecilia Mora and Tarek because I like their blog and Tarek is cute!!!

We gave one to Bree at K & K Enjoy the Journey because mom thinks Bree and her sisters are darling, darling cute!

Riley from Riley's Gift gets one. Riley's cute, but I don't want my mom to hug and kiss him.
(note from Lily's mom - Lily is just a little jealous of Riley. I tend to hug and snuggle with him a little too much when I see him. I asked if I could bring him home one day - she was not thrilled!)

Kenley at WyoMoores because she is my friend.

We can't keep Will at The Armantrount Family Blog but he is cute and they went to the Living Planet Aquarium! I liked going to the aquarium too!

Aiden from A is for Aiden gets one because their Wizard of Oz video is "adorable!"

Heidi Mae from Justin & Karen Gundry gets and award because she has funny pictures! She is awesome!

An open letter to Ben Stiller and DreamWorks Studio

Dear Mr. Stiller and DreamWorks Studio,

I just came from viewing “Tropic Thunder” I swore, even blogged to the world, that I would not see this movie, but after talking with people who knew I was considering protesting the movie I went. Their comments to me were before you protest you need to know exactly what you are protesting. Well, now I know what I am protesting…

This was not a movie for entertainment unless of course you were a white, physically fit, straight person. Not only did you attack individuals with intellectual disabilities, you attacked overweight people, people who are gay and I also felt you attacked black people.

Mr. Stiller, I watched an interview you did explaining how over the top some actors will go to portray their character, and that’s how you justified Robert Downey, Jr. playing a black man. But, it was you as the writer of this movie who came up with those lines and concepts.

Question to Mr. Stiller - when you studied “retarded people” did you study my 9 year old daughter who has Down syndrome or how about my nephew who has Autism? Who caught your eye as “the full retard”? Oh, and by the way did you not think that line would now be the catch phrase at every school in the nation? Is it not bad enough just to be retard, now it has to be full retard? Thank you for that.

Comment to Mr. Spielberg – with all the work you have done for the Jewish community and remembering the victims of the Holocaust did you forget that they also murdered individuals with disabilities and handicaps?

Shame on both of you for allowing this thing that you call an entertaining movie to be made. Will I protest on the streets with signs? No, I won’t waste my precious time anymore on this. You don’t deserve it.
